Get rid of the NAPA cap and rotor and never use it again. I had them on my '88 and aside from costing *more* than the Bosch parts and not lasting half as long, they had tin contacts instead of the better-conducting, longer-lasting copper.
While you're ordering those from a site sponsor, feel free to get the right set of plugs if those are out of spec. A little fuel smell should be normal, what with the positive crankcase ventilation system, but too much means you're still going rich for whatever reason. Have you measured the signal from your oxygen sensor? When you read that, you know the same thing your car's computers know as far as what the mixture is doing and whether your oxygen sensor is dying. Aside from that, I'd check for vacuum leaks and throw some decent fuel injector cleaner in the tank when you get a chance.
