Tastes very...oily.
To update things here a bit...I slapped in a new Bosch cap and rotor, used BCP7ES plugs (soon to change to 6ES) and took her for a long hard ride. Made quite a difference. She isnt so rough and starts better. When I got back from my ride, I popped the hood and smelled the dipstick again. No gas smell!
On a side note, if you havent figured it out, the illustration in the Bentley (page 340-5) has the plug wires on the distributor cap wrong(at least its wrong for a 1990 16v Turbo). I set my wires up like the illustration and she would not start. Did a bit of research and found the proper orientation. The Bentley has the 4 wire closest to your nose if you are standing on the right side of the car. Going CLOCKWISE, the Bentley says 4 3 2 1.
What it should be is 1 2 4 3.
I bet thats driven a few people nuts...
