I think you're experiencing the fuel cutoff that's triggered by the overboost switch. You should deactivate the switch and there are several ways to do this: turn the adjustment screw up, plug the vacuum tube to the switch, or deactivate it electrically. I chose the last option and there are two wires to connect in the area around the ECU in the passenger footwell.
You should definitely go with a 3.0FPR and if possible get larger injectors and a remapped fuel chip.
I think the stock fuel pump supplies enough fuel.
I have a forge valve because the bosch unit kept failing.
A new APC solenoid valve would probably be expensive. Most just clean it out w/carb cleaner. Mine leaked a little and I sealed it w/JB weld.
