87' 900t rescued from the bone yard - running rich.....

I attached something about this about 1/2 a page down on a thread about a fellow about to junk his 86' 900t this afternoon (just paid $500 for an 87' 900t from the junk yard) & don't think I'll get too many responses, so here's the short version (more details about the car overall on the prev. post) Thanks for reading;
I stumbled upon a nice rust free rose quartz 87' 900t in a salvage yard - no wheels, burried up to the axles in sand. Interior is excellent (XXX filthy - since vacuumed w/no unpleasant suprises), car 99.9% complete & unmolested save for the fuse box being empty. I paid $500 figuring it needed a tranny, got it home, restocked the fuse box (suprisingly I had nearly everything I needed :) & vroom! she fired right up! I put it in gear busted the frozen brakes free & off I went...got about a mile before getting stopped for not having plates (doh!)...court summons & $125 towing/storage :( Anyway, the tranny is fine :) but the car runs so rich you can't be in/near it unless you're doing 30mph or better. The oxygen sensor had also been 'ganked' w/so little wiring left it wasn't useable - probably by the fuse box pirate, I jerry rigged an old (but good) one which read .5v cold & .4v warmed up (connected). No difference - checked #3 & #6 on the AMM...out of spec reading .308 ohms - Bently says it should be .380 so I just (5min ago) removed the tamper proof plug (obviously had been removed before though) & adjusted the setting to .380 - BIG DIFFERENCE...car ran crappy (as before) but smelled lots better & ran AWESOME! after warming up - turbo pulls HARD (yes the car is registered now & I've also changed the oil). I think the AMM is still bad, due to the lousy warm up - Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?
