The paint is in good shape (making the dents inflicted buy the loader forks very painful to look at) & while I'd prefer Edwardian Grey, the Rose Quartz hue is growing on me.
A fellow is selling an Azure Blue 87' 900t in NJ (TSN classifieds w/web link) that has had a ridiculous amount of things replaced, but aside from the color not being my thing, the dude has atrocious grammar, can't use a camera & over uses the word 'mint' to such a degree that I don't have a lot of faith he's 100% normal.
I'm a big fan of anti-seize compound - lug nuts to oxygen sensors...unfortunately the last owner (or more likely his mechanic) was not. I got the old one out only after crushing it practically flat w/vicegrips & eventually knocking the cylinder off the base with a hammer. I then resorted to a torch, PB Blaster & a 19mm socket on a flex head 3/8 ratchet. In hindsight, it wasn't that bad an approach. I had enough room for all this after just removing the battery - but pulling the whole pipe would have been smarter...esp. since it's trashed anyway & has to be replaced.
Any likelihood I'm going to fry my good 85' AMM by swapping it in for comparison?
