The 85 ECU is known to have cold start problems. My neighbor worked at the dealer and heard there was a silent recall on it. If the customer complained enough Saab would send the ECU off to be rechipped.The 3 85Ts' that I have associated with all had the problem. The cure is a 87 or 88 ECU. This all assuming you aren't getting symptoms from rotten wires feeding engine control components.
