I am looking for recommendations for a good meter that is not too expensive. I have a cheap one from RadioShack that is good for testing house current, 12V. and continuity where impedance doesn't count. However it is not really sensitive enough for getting good readings on things like the O2 sensor or the resistance of the thermo time switch. If money were no issue I would put down serious cash on a good Fluke but money is an issue.
I not a professional mechanic but I do about 90% of the work on my fleet so quality counts. I need something that is not perfect but good enough. What are you other home mechanics using?
