good one - i have sat on these decks for quite awhile waiting for the exact moment where i could use them... what a planner..

by dash illumination i mean the ability to brighten or darken the light of the head unit. i believe the br/wh wire if connected will allow one to increase or decrease the light level on the head unit via the rheostat knob left of steering wheel.
on your car 1) does the rheostat work and 2) you probably cant adjust the head unit's lights if that wire isnt connected, but let me know anyway in case i'm wrong!
