Maine location, sagging headliner advice?

My Saab 1993 900S has a sagging headliner. I had never even heard of that until it happened to me. It started with a few small holes in the cloth, which grew bigger over time, and now the entire cloth ceiling sags, resting on the top of my head and blocking the rear view. It's really bad when I have the windows open (broken a/c, of course) and the wind ripples through the cloth causing it to billow and showering my head with pieces of foam dropping from the ceiling. I can't imagine upholstery tacks will work in such an advanced case (although I will give them a try). I'm not handy and I don't have a handyman to help me out, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a place in the state of Maine where I could get the headliner replaced or reupholstered? My Saab mechanic said he could do the job for around $1000, but I really don't want to pay more than $300.
Other than the floppy ceiling the car is in great shape at 132,000k! But this problem is forcing me to consider selling the car. Is it hard to sell a Saab with a sagging headliner in condition like this? Thank you.
