I'd second everything Fish said.
I routinely put the front end back together between engine removal/reinstallation to make the car mobile again. It's a small amount of extra work, but quite convenient to have done. Just be sure you securely cover the exposed inner tripod bearings with a plastic bag to prevent contamination. Be sure you plug any exposed openings (radiator, heat control valve, etc.) to ensure nothing gets in there, either.
Speaking of, I believe the Bentley says to disconnect the power steering lines from the pump. You don't need to do this. Remove the upper adjustment hardware from the pump, and lift the engine slowly a few inches at a time until you're out of slack, then bring it forward as much as possible. Be sure you remove the coil and radiator fans, and BE SURE you protect the radiator with some thick cardboard!!!. Remove the bottom nut holding on the pump, and lay it gently on the rack. That way, your power steering system stays intact - much less messy! And, installation is the reverse of removal. Replace those worn-out pump bushings while you're in there.
