to changing this is to unbolt the coolant reservoir, get a bungy cord, leave the bottle capped, and pull it over the top of the engine, over the intake manifold, and use the bungy cord to keep it in the middle, somewhat suspended over the engine. no leaks, no draining or refilling needed, and yet you get much more access to the voltage regulator/brush unit.
