Dear daughter over heated her 88 16V turbo vert a month ago. All seemed ok after fixing the coolant leak & partially stuck thermostat. Today while doing my usual fluids check I found that teltale brownish yellow stuff when I checked the oil. So it appears there is likely a head gasket leak. Any chance I could get lucky and get away with just a retorque of the head? Or is it probably that the head is now warped?
If I pull the head anything else that should get attention while I'm in there? The rust bucket has 203K on it.
Cheers,
Ken
