How to access the top front driver's side shock absorbe

Happy New Year !
I should change my shocks but when I scoped out the job, I was worried about the lack of access for the driver side front shock. The area I'd think I would need to wrench from is blocked by the brake lines and general congestion.
I've tried searching the forum, and maybe the answer is buried there. I've read the tips about breaking the old shock out, but do mechanics undo any parts to get access to installing the driver side shock, or have any tips.
