you should keep your exh man and turbo as a set, replace the small oil feed gasket, don't bother with return gasket (keep it in one piece!), then you also won't need the thin metal one for exh man/turbo connection.
i used a 3" extension wedged between the trans case (the 'bell housing' part that is in line with the flywheel) and the flywheel teeth. set it on one side for loosening, other side for tightening.
