You'll find over 250,000 posts on the subject, "light pressure turbo"
In short, you can run a turbocharger with your existing fueling & ignition systems, but you can't run much more than 5-6 PSI without grenading your engine.
You can install the fuel & ignition systems from a turbo car, along with the APC boost controller, and run more boost (10-12 PSI). That's a lot of work, though, and you might find it easier to buy a factory turbo model in good condition...
