You'd be best served by grabbing the 1st clean c900 that catches your eye...regardless of the year. Most of us have said 'Doh!' after passing up good finds thinking a better one would come along. Nice c900's are getting very scarce...especially so if they're free of rust. Do a board search using the key word "rust" - there are several key areas to check that are easily overlooked. You'd probably walk away from an otherwise nice SPG if you discovered it had the dreaded right side drive shaft tunnel rot.
