From a quick Google of Saab 900 Bleed Coolant, I came up with a FAQ for the NG900.
Simple - with the car cold, remove the coolant reservoir cap. Start the engine and let it idle. The coolant will bubble then stop. When the thermostat opens, it'll bubble some more. As the thermostat cycles, you'll get more bubbles, until it eventually stops bubbling. Cap the reservoir, and you should be done.
If the level drops near MIN during this, add more coolant. When it is done bubbling, add coolant to near (but below) the MAX level.
