I believe in an earlier post he mentioned that the 86S is a 16V.
Given the condition of the two cars in the following order:
no or least Rust, exterior condition, engine/transmission condition, interior... I would make my decision based up that list.
If you are hot for a hatchback or a turbo, or non turbo, then you have to factor those bits in.
Generally, the non turbo should have less care and feeding being a non turbo, also access to most items is a bit easier as the turbo and all of it's support bits are not there, gives a more room to work. Does this mean the engine will last longer? No, just easier to work on so maybe the preventative stuff will be done more diligently?
The Notchback is a collectors car, may have better resale later.. or may not.
