The EBAY guy worked out real well for me; he is a nice guy & will stand by what he sells you. To change the accumulator (it takes all of 4 minutes!)just pull all the ABS system relays (passenger fender-well in engine compartment), you don't even need to disconnect the battery cables this way (so you won't have to fool with re-setting your radio codes!), & pump your brake pedal HARD about 25-30 times in 45 seconds or so. This releives whatever pressure might be in the accumulator & because the relays are pulled the ABS pump cannot fire up to re-pressurize the system. Then just use the appropriate size allen wrench (I bought just the one correct size SOCKET at an auto parts store & mated it to my 1/2" breaker bar------although a 1/2" or 3/8" rachet will work just as well) & simply loosen, twist off the old accumulator , thread on the new one & tighten it TIGHT with the allen wrench. No need to even bleed the system-----I worried about that when I changed mine, but lots of posts here indicate that isn't necessary & I've had absolutely no problem. The new(used) accumulator solved my 900S ABS problems. Much less expensive than having your trusty Saab mechanic charge you $375! But, always do take your car to them for the really critical, HARD to repair stuff though!
