Clutch & axle replacement are usual service items. Axles can be obtained rebuilt which is much less costly than rebuilding yours. Clutch is a no brainer if you have the special tools. If your mechanic does not have the tools to do the clutch replacement then you should try to find a shop which does more Saab repair. The window mechanism may only need to be disassembled cleaned & lubricated. If while doing that the mechanism is found to be bad, obtain a used unit. The a/c if converted to R134 can get a boost yearly for not much cost too. The air leak on the driver's side may cost nothing more than time spent looking for the culprit. Overall not a lot of cost for a clean car. Big question is more on the side of what is the expense of storage.
