My experience is this. . . if you don't have the time/inclination/finances to get the car up to speed right now you are even less likely to in the future.
All of the items you mention are standard maintenance issues. However, even if you take it to a good shop the bills are going to quickly add up to near the selling price of the car. A window mechanism, for example, is easy to re-lubricate but unless you do it yourself, you are probably paying a mechanic $70 an hour to do it for you.
Storage is an option but it takes up valuable space and it may to cost you something on a month to month basis. If, after to have stored the car for a few years, you are still in no position to get the work done (pretty typical) the car is likely less sale-able than it is right now. Unless you are scrupulous about your storage routine, the battery is dead, the tires are flat, the fuel is suspect, the cooling system needs to be flushed, and the interior is the slightly moldy home to mice and spiders. At that point you have what is essentially a non-running car (unless you want to spring for a new $70 battery and try to coax it back to life) and its value is somewhere between $0 and $300.
My advice: sell it now for a reasonable price to an enthusiast who will give it the DIY attention it deserves.
