yeah i found its a chemical defect some people have, excpecially me, even though im a cruise control kind of guy, just knowing the saab can reach in excess of 180mph its a good feeling. i recently went head to head with a hayabusa motorcycle and if anyone knows about hayabusa bikes you know the outcome of the race, well i shouldn't call it a race it was but moments the c900 hit 130 and seconds latter the hayabusa was out of view.
granted its not often i personally reach such speeds but this one event i sure would of liked to have a 6th gear just to see how crazy the guy on the motorcycle was.
and take no worry when im driving, if i were to pass you on the road you would only see a color smear and a slight wind as i passed.
heck if i was able to reach 200mph you wouldn't see me at all.
im sure you know how it is when you just buy ice cream from the supermarket, got to get it in the freezer before it melts.
just a note:
when the driver of a car thats doing 130+ mph is going to pass a car the driver knows they dont have the right of way, and knows the car thats going to be passed may have know idea of how fast the distance is being closed behind them between the two cars. this is why the driver of the car doing over 100 mph has upgraded the brakes on their car to stop the vehicle on a dime.
