I think that is a slight exaggeration. I have #8 primaries and different intermediate gears so my 5th is 3000 RPM at 78 mph. Hard to push a C900 to 6000 RPM in top gear -- most of them run out of steam at 5500 on the top end of the speedo....or out of straightaway...

The #8s drop the rpms about 300 from 1st through 5th, so my 7's produced 72mph at 3000 rpm.

Does anyone know if there is a C900 salt flats record to break????? My wife wants to go to Bonneville, so I thought we should try for a new track record...,
