I love my gearbox now....with the intermediate change and the 8s, I can do 35 in 1st, 60 in 2nd, 90 in third......enough said....but it helps to have water injection, an advancing distributor, etc etc etc etc......

The best part is being able to get all the way through an intersection without having to upshift.....
