Bougicord wires are durable. If the car already has them, then it's a good idea to measure their resistivity; you might find that they are within spec (which you'll find in the Bentley manual.)

Be gentle with the distributor -- the Hall sensor plug is fragile.

Change your gear oil about every 20k, or yearly. You can read oil-related threads for hours, or cut to the chase and just use Red Line MTL or Honda MTF. The gearbox is the car's Achilles heel, so treat it well.

Before doing the rear brakes, shoot some Liquid Wrench, PB Blaster, etc. in the hole covered by the 14 mm bolt/cap you'll remove to retract the pistons. If the little gear that you'll turn (via a 4mm hex wrench) strips, then you'll need a set of rebuilt calipers. I've spent thousands at eEuroparts and have had bad luck just once: rear calipers. There are other comments here about poor quality, too. FWIW.

I personally wouldn't replace any sensors unless I've measured them and found them to be out of spec. If you find that the O2 sensor is dead, search here for Ford Sensor or Ford Part Number, etc. -- there's an identical one for V8s that costs much less (you'll need to cut the Ford plug and solder to the Saab wiring).

I also wouldn't worry too much about what kind of coolant you're using. Just change it regularly. While there are some 900 engines (2.1 non-turbos) that seem to be sensitive to coolant chemistry, your '92 Turbo doesn't have one of them.

For a Turbo car, it's a good idea to confirm that your throttle switch and vacuum capsule work properly. Also adjust the base boost.
