The 2.1-L motors have a thick spacer washer underneath the crank pulley bolt to prevent crankshaft bolt from bottoming in the crankshaft hole. If this washer is not re-installed, the crank pulley will loosen, rip out the woodruff key damaging the crankshaft key slot and new pulley, and create an awful expensive mess.
