Washer on B212 engines is not captive on crankshaft pulley bolt, so it may be omitted accidentally on reassembly. Since B201 and B202 engines don't use a washer, people sometimes don't realize washer is missing with disastrous consequences for the B212 engine. Just ensure to re-install washer. No need to replace it with a new one.
