Unrelated, but is the bolt that mounts the support arm for the alternator bracket to the block passing thru an oil passage way? When I removed the bolt it was very oily on the threads and clean oil at that. I assumed it was just oil from the oil pump o-ring seeping, but I want to confirm that sealer isnt needed on those threads upon reassembly? I'm installing new mount bushings for the alternator, old ones are oil contaiminated. Next winter I will be back in there to replace that O-ring and seal again. Did it about 50 k ago and must have done it wrong, didn't seal. THX
