Disconnect you neg battery lead. Remove alternator wires. Look at the bentley. remove the A/C base bolt , hopefully the mount is slotted, so loosen the bolt and other holding the A/C compressor. Move A/C compessor, set it to the side top of engine. Take the altenator belt adjuster free.remove the bracket or let it drop out of way. Loosen main nut on long alternator bolt. Push alternator all the way into engine. Take out the rear alternator mount bolt . Rotate alternator base (loosen the forward mount bolt first)in a counterclock wise direction. Pull alternator toward you back and forth as you try to work out the long bolt that holds alternator. This is from memory so there might be another bolt on alternator to remove. Do not cut long bolt, donot hit mount with hammer. The long alternator bolt will come out if you rotate the alternator mount CC. There was apost about 5=6 months ago where the PO had but alternator bushing in from the wrong way. Just look and see I believe you will find them mounted from the inside out. It ain't easy, but YOU CAN do it.
