There was a very recent post describing similar symptoms.
What's your brake fluid reservoir showing; any signs of leaks on the ground? I think a transmission failure would give you other symptoms.
I'd bet it's hydraulics-related. Perhaps your slave has failed. It might help if you could peel the clutch plastic cover away and have somebody press the clutch a few times while you eyeball the action down by the release bearing.
