From SAAB manual - pages ive obtained in the past.
Front band - back off lock nut, place 1/4inch spacer between adjusting screw and piston rod. tighten adjusting screw with a torque of 1.3Nm, then back off 1 turn. tighten lock nut.
Rear band - back off lock nut, tighten adjusting screw with a torque of 13-14Nm (square socket). then back off 1 - 1 1/4 turns. tighten lock nut
I had only done the Front band adjust to "prolong" the life of my auto, it lasted a little over 15K miles.Good Luck!
