Mark it has to be the rubber, bumpers , In the meantime, put an iron on patch where it rubs. ONe of the large ones for fixing blue jeans They will easliy peel off again with some weathering. At least it's better than a hole, and once you get the "mystery part" you can spray a little vert waterproofing spray, and get some more years of use.. Think to top is rubbing against it's self when down? see waht is underneath on the bows that could be doing such. good luck in the Motherland mate. Frank
