Hello! My low mileage 1993 Turbo runs awesome when cold, but has a very rough idle and chugs a bit at low RPM when warm. The problem is intermittent, and does not seem to be related too much to the outside air temperature.
The car always idles very smooth, perfect, with the AC on, obviously feels a bit slower though.
I am not to scientific, but I did try many things already based on reading posts on this site.
Mileage of car: 22,000 (really)
All ready completed:
Air Cleaner Change
Cleaned AIC with WD40, seems fine.
Changed Coolant Temp Sensor
Change O2 Sensor
Changed Coil
Change Plug Wires
Changed Plugs (the recommended NGK for hard driving, tried "city" plugs and idle did not change so switched back).
Changed Ignition Module
Visual Check for Vacuum Line Leaks (car only has 22,000 miles on it and hoses look like new.
Check for loose connectors etc.
Check the air intake tubes and hoses for leaks.
Also, the Muffler was rusted and leaking, and so replaced the entire exhaust with a OEM standard system, no leaks now.
I just bought every vacuum fitting, PVC valve etc from Saabsite and plan to change those and the hoses, but if anybody has a suggestion based on my description above, I would appreciate it. Changing all the hoses will take a bit of time and I risk breaking something else by doing so and would rather avoid that if possible.
Thank you!
