With all the mileage on your transmission, there should be plenty of zinc imbedded on the gears. It's just like a gasoline engine that was made to run on leaded gasoline. If the leaded gas only engines had plenty of high mile using leaded gasoline and was switched to un-leaded, the change to the unleaded won't hurt a thing. Plenty of lead on the valve seats and face. Just don't add any Lucas oil. I blew a bearing in my 87/9000t using the recomended 20% to the 10-30w mix. My used replacement trans. for the 9000t just has 10-30w and still shifts fine.
