I'm chasing the same nightmare. I had a leaky slave that I replaced (used OEM SAAB part). While I was at it I redid the clutch and put new seals in the master. Now the car grinds in second unless I old-man shift. Downshifting into second is impossible. All the other gears are smooth. I checked the shifter alignment and replaced the shaft bushing and dog bone. The car only has 80K on it, so I don't think it's a synchro. It's got fresh Redline MTL in the transfer case. I've pressure bled it, reverse bled it and still have issues. Yesterday I bled it 4 times. I finally gave up and put her to bed for the winter. I'll probably bleed some more when I put it back on the road next spring. The only thing I haven't done is a traditional push-the-pedal bleed.
