If it's just gunked up, yes it will be easy. If you have other issues, like severe corrosion or a broken gear tooth inside the motor, not so easy.
If you need to get the mechanism out of the car, you'll have to remove the 5 or so 10mm mounting bolts that hold it inside the door, Then you can maneuver it enough to get at the 2 torx screws that hold the glass to the mechanism. Once you get the two apart, you can get the mechanism out and do a better diagnosis. WATCH YOUR FINGERS. The mechanism is scissor-like and the motor is powerful enough to do some damage if you get them in the wrong place.
