the plugs cap rotor wires have been replaced. the plugs that came out were the best looking plugs I have ever taken out of an engine. All the grounds have been removed, sanded and greased with dielectric(trouble shooting taillights which are nowworking fine).
I am have problems with my thermoswitch on the radiator. the fan will come on at odd times both hot and cold and a tap on the switch will shut them off. I will be replacing that switch.
fuel has been burned out and I am on my second tank. I will throw in some techron when the tank is about 1/4.
The car runs 100% from cold to first shut off, an hour long drive is extremly pleasurable and it pulls strong to 100mph, so I don't think fuel delivery is an issue. when I stop I have to deal with a couple extra minutes of warm up until the problem clears itself and it is 100% again until the next stop/shut down.
I am leaning towards replacing the radiator thermoswitch, the one inthe middle of the top radiator hose(its a little green) and the temp sensor for the temp gauge (the gauge went dead for a day until I cleaned and greased the "nailtop" connection) Isn't there another temp sensor under the intake where the fuel injection gets it info?
No dashights except the typical SRS light on. it fires right up even down to -1 below
