Slave removal/stuck clutch/3 fat nuts Help? Posted by Devin [Email] (#2469) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Devin) on Tue, 8 Jun 2010 09:26:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi Guys,
When I last posted my clutch petal was stuck UP and I'd just replaced the line to the slave and bled.
After a few months of sitting it feels like there's air in the line again.
It goes to the floor and springs back but there's no resistance and it doesn't release. I'm thinking now that the master and slave are both bad.
I also noticed that everything's pretty rusty and decided to remove the slave or try to.
What's the best way to spin the flywheel to get at the lower nuts and assuming it's all got to come out anyway, is it O.K. to spray with Liquid Wrench to try to get everything to release?
Thanks, Devin
