Saabers: kindly some suggestions needed. 86Turbo
Changed the cylinder head
Tripled checked the timing chain/timing marks.
Inspected the hall sensor plug several times.
Checked the grounds near the lifting lug,
Bypass the fuel pump fuse, fuel is coming up.
Pulled a spark plug, held to ground...sparking.
Checked the connections on the AMM, TPS,
After all of the aformentioned, the engine will not start: simply crnaks and cranks.
What am I missing?
The only factor is the old cylinder head had a sensor under the aside the intake pipes, which the 87 cylinder head does not. I left the wire seperated and even bridged them with no difference. Can this be the culprit? I can't recall what that sensor is for.
Any other suggestions would be great..
Thanks in advance
