I bought one off eBay for my '94 900TC a few months ago, along with a 3.0 bar FPR. It made a huge difference in performance, mostly in third gear and up. Turbo lag is the same, but that was expected, based on the older designs of the turbo.

They claim a bump from 160hp to about 210hp with their blue series box, which I bought. It can obviously go higher, but for a cruising car, this is more than adequate for me. The car only has 59K on it, so I'm not looking to destroy my transmission or anything else by beating the crap out of the car.
