Be sure that you ask the sellers of skins if the tufting wires are intact. Some of the seats I've seen auctioned look great on the surface, but the wires and the sleeves are missing. When I questioned the northeast seller about it once, his response was that SAAB people know that the sleeves are a problem and expect the skins to be like that. Not the answer I was looking for. If you're selling skins for that price, they should be fixed.
They can of course be fixed by you. I've hand-stitched the wires back into many seats over the years and they've always held up fine. Or you could take them to an auto upholstery shop and have new sleeves sewn in if you've got a wad of cash. Or perhaps you're OK with the flat seat look--beats me. :-)
