Where are you located? If you're in some place with a mild climate, I'd change the oil filter and try and start it. If you're somewhere with extreme climate, I'd drain as much fuel as possible, put in some drygas and some SERIOUS fuel injector cleaner, some fuel, change the filter, and try and start it.
If it runs, and you plan on running it, immediately change the oil, fuel filter, coolant, brake fluid. Do not attempt to drive it until you've done those things, and verified everything works properly.
In my experience, modern fuel injected engines are generally just fine starting after sitting dormant for a long time. My Alfa sat unused for 4.5 years, and started up easily with nothing more than a new battery. My 900 5-door sat for almost 4 years, same story.
