Well, you can't actually do that. The fuel pump only runs when the engine is spinning. You could jumper the fuel pump relay, but frankly I would NOT use the expensive fuel pump to move potentially gummy fuel out of the tank. Sounds like a formula for wrecking the pump. Also, the pumps in these cars are designed to work with fuel returning from the rail - without that extra flow, they will run out of fuel to pump reasonably quickly, moreso as the tank nears empty. I'd add some SERIOUS gas treatment to the tank and let it sit for a while - I've used two cans of Berryman's B12 in gummed up gas tanks before to help liquify the fuel. Stuff like Techron or Redline gas additives are not sufficient for this task. Dump the cans in the tank, let them sit for a while, remove the fuel sender (easier than the pump) and siphon away. When you're to the bottom, refill halfway with good gas, some more B12, and see what happens. :)
