1989 900s (no turbo). Engine starts beautifully + runs perfectly once it is warm. However, if the idle drops while it is cold (ie whenever I come to a stoplight), it starts to chug + shake like it's running on 3 cylinders or something + accelerates slowly (still really rough) until the rpms pick up and it's fine. Next stoplight, same problem. Once the car warms up, it runs perfectly (as far as I can tell). If I stop the car for an hour or so, come back and start it up, it runs fine, no problems (engine is probably still warm enough). I've only driven it 3 times since this started though.
Car was recently in at indy for oil change, evap line fix (through roof - headliner's out), and a new radiator + thermostat. Car ran perfect before that. Anything to look for that might have been bumped? (as an aside, smog test results this year were barely pass vs perfect year before with a new cat - probably could use plugs cap rotor etc which I will do when I can, but I doubt this is a root cause?)
I've got a little time today - hoping I can fix this myself vs spending more money at the indy on the winter beater... I'll go through the Bentley, but I'm not great at diagnosis, so any suggestions would be much appreciated!
