I don't fault you at all, actually, I'm very appreciative of your advice! Helps me learn some of the key areas to look for beyond the basics (that I missed!)...
The car's behavior (combined with my lack of experience) threw me as well: it really was running smoothly before taking it in to our indy for an oil change, rad, + evap line. First time I drove it after, it had problems with idle dropping + limping along. I also don't fault our indy at all - they're great + this was likely totally coincidental... It also ran smoothly at higher rpms + once it warmed up. But I guess it was a hairline crack, and it was a non-bosch black colored cap on the car so hard to see the crack I guess.
I had planned to do plugs/cap/rotor only because our emissions test was fairly high this year vs perfect last year, not because of any other running issues.
