If the heater blower motor squeals with the engine not running, but with the ignition key on then, it's probably the blower motor needing oil or replacement. Common problem. The AC belt pulley is independent of the three other belts and can't cause the HBP squeal. The HBP squeal is caused by increasing the load on the power steering pump (turning the steering wheel while parked) or loading up the alternator by turning on any electrical devices (headlights,AC clutch and fans, radio, and cabin heater fan, etc.)If the HBP rubber is shot, the extra loads will "stop" the rubberized portion of the HBP causing the crankshaft to spin in the pulley creating a loud shriek until everything warms up and grabs. Silence until the next cold start!
