Common sense tells me the light would only be for a "Fault" being throw. The system has to detect quickly to fire and I think a small bulb triggering the bag would have been though of during the research and development of air bags (SRS). I would be more concerned whether the air bag deploys or not due to it's age when in an accident. 92/900t < > My 87/9000t is equipped with SRS seat belts. A charge get deployed when in an accident. Tightens the seat belt. I remember once reading a warning about working in the area of the charge.
