Turbo oil feed problem: Garret T3 question

Hi all :)
I'm in the middle of replacing my turbo on the Enduro and I've come across a problem. With the new turbo bolted up to the manifold, the angle of the oil line seats aren't quite at the same angle as the associated oil line flange faces top and bottom - they're out by about 5 degrees which is enough to badly stress the bottom drain pipe badly if they were to be forced to mate. If I could rotate the housing back towards the engine (at the top) so that they could sit flat I'd be OK.
Question - (not having a turbo apart before) can I release the 6 bolts holding the turbine (hot side) casing to rotate it a little around the centre assembly without stuffing anything? This would let me rotate the oil line facings to meet the oil lines in-situ. The bolts are very tight, and theres one that you can't get a 1/2" ring around - so it's in danger of rounding off if an open ender has to be used.
I imagine that the casings all sit flush against a machined surface on each side that would auto-centre the casings when tightened.
Attached image describes the issue.
Thanks in advance
Chris
