Just to make that point again, a little stronger.

Philip:

The chance that any part of your clutch will go bad is not very great, and for the LINE to fail is probably less likely than any of the other parts. Besides, for all you know I presume, it might have been replaced some time by an earlier owner.

If it does go bad on you, it goes bad. Then and only then, fix it.

The number of things you could do on a car that might go bad some time in the future is infinite.

Concentrate on the obvious, like tires, brake pads, oil and filter changes, and anything that's plainly ailing.
