92 900T, 189K.
Have had this issue once before, while in high traffic, Fluid and ABS lights come on, brakes partially fail, stutter, have variable resistance (thank god for E-brakes)...No fluid loss.
After its home and in the driveway (Good times on those last few miles), all cooled off, everything tests and performs fine.
Pressure bomb tests OK...18-20 pumps of the brake pedal and lights come on. not the symptomatic 8-10 pumps indicating bomb failure.
I've heard that the big fat sensor on the side facing the alternator belt/pulley can go bad, and that this is a fix for this issue. Opinions on that?
Also, I 'have' an ABS system from a 93 900S (Thanks Nate89SPG!!!). Kinda looks like a bloody nightmare to replace...any opinion on that? They're all the same (turbo vs. NA)... right?
